Christmas Day Service Has Been Cancelled

Sunday morning (Christmas Day) worship service at Fairhaven has been cancelled due to the inclement weather.

Note: if you ordered a poinsettia and would like to get it in the morning, Kelly Stasik is willing to meet you at the church between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. BUT you must call her. If she does not hear from anyone, she will not go there.

The Mabel Speicher Friends of Fairahven Gala Benefit Dinner & Auction

Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the South Hills Country Club, hosted by WPXI’s meterologist Scott Harbaugh!

Reservation forms are available, and tickets are $45 a person.

Come enjoy a delicious dinner, silent auctions, and a live auction of wonderful items while helping support Fairhaven’s largest fundraiser of the year.

Christmas Eve Poinsettia Orders

Christmas Eve at Fairhaven United Methodist Church is a special service. If you would like to be a part of the tradition of making the sanctuary beautiful by decorating with poinsettias, we need your order by November 18.

The names of your loved ones will be listed in the bulletin for the service on Christmas Eve.

The price is $12.00 per potted 6″ poinsettia.

Please give your ordering informatin to Flo Black as soon as possible. You can see her at Sunday service or you can put the order form in the collection basket. Please mark the envelope to Flo’s attention.

Remember, you can take your poinsettias home with you after the service on Christmas Eve.

All Saints’ Sunday November 6 2022

We will be celebrating All Saints’ Sunday by reading the names of the honored dead whose lives were important to us.  If you have a name of someone who died since November 7, 2021, that you would like to be remembered during the service, please complete the information below.  Feel free to include all family members and friends who died during this time.  

Please submit the names to Flo Black by October 30. If you will not be at church on Sunday, 10/30, please call Fairhaven at 412-882-2544 and leave a message with the information no later than 10/30. If you leave a message, be sure to leave a call back number so Flo can call you back if necessary to check on the correct spelling for the name to be read.
