      If you are coping with the loss of a loved one, the pain of a broken relationship, the loss of a job, or another loss in your life, then this group is for you.

      We will meditate on Scripture, learn techniques to help us to grow through the grief process, and share how God is working in our lives.

      If you are interested in joining this group, please contact Pastor Linda. Wednesdays at 7:00 PM at Spencer during May.

      The dates are May 7, 14, 21, and 28.

    • Beyond: The Power of Prayer

      prayer_hands_goldEach week will focus on a different form of prayer, concentrating on the basic: how, why, where, etc. This contemporary time of worship is a great Lenten discipline. Held every Thursday, 7:00 pm at Spencer UMC, beginning with a light supper at 6:15 pm.

      A special collection was take for UMCOR’s One Great Hour of Sharing. This offering supports the administrative costs that underwrite the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). A special envelope was provided for the offering.
