Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Fairhaven United Methodist Church
Time: 2:00 pm to approximately 4:00pm followed by a meal of fellowship at Fairhaven United Methodist Church (2415 Saw Mill Run Blvd. Pittsburgh, PA 15234).
“As a congregation, we are deeply grieved by the tragic loss of our music director, friend, and brother in Christ, Ricardo Tobia. At times like these, we depend on the grace of “the Father of mercies and the God of all consolation, who comforts us in all our affliction” so that we might comfort and console each other and all who knew and loved Ricardo (II Cor 1:3-4).
We hope you’ll join us for a service in honor of Ricardo’s life on Sunday, July 22nd at 2 pm, followed by a community meal.
All of this will take place at Fairhaven UMC (2415 Saw Mill Run Blvd), the church Ricardo loved and served so well.
We hope and pray this will be a music-filled service that honors the life Ricardo lived and the many lives he touched as a teacher, friend, and church music leader.
All are welcome to attend, but if you’re planning to be there, please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and how many will be attending.
Also, if anyone has pictures of Ricardo you’d want included in a slideshow, or, if you’re a former student or colleague of Ricardo’s who would like to participate musically in the service, please call or e-mail Pastor Matt Price at (412) 532-6157 or email@example.com. Thanks and God bless!” – Pastor Matt Price
