    • Christmas Caroling to Shut-ins

      If you like to sing (even if you can’t) but would like to be part of this almost forgotten Christmas tradition, please join us on Sunday, Dec. 20th as we visit Shut-Ins throughout the South Hills Partnership and sing some good old-fashioned Christmas Carols together. 

      We will meet at Spencer UMC (117 Spencer Ave., 15227) at 1:30 to carpool from there and will head back to church by 4.

      Pastor Matt will be making calls in the next few weeks to let folks know that we’re coming, but if you know someone in the area you think would appreciate some carolers, then please let Matt know at (412) 532-6157 or [email protected]. 

      Let’s make this a fun, intergenerational event and show others God’s love through the gift of music!

      Be SENT this Advent at Beyond

      As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them . . . —John 17:18

      God sent Christ into the world as our Savior. In turn, Christ sends us into the world.

      But do we really understand how, where, and why we are sent?

      This Advent study, centered around a 8-10 minute videos, challenges us through story, art, and Bible study to discover what it means to be Christ’s hands, feet, head, and heart. 

      Join us at Spencer UMC for a light supper at 6:15pm and service at 7pm.
